ICELAND
ICELAND is 103.000 km2 and sparsely populated with only 3 inhabitants per km2 who live mostly along the coast. The interior is largely an arctic desert, punctuated with mountains, glaciers, volcanoes, and waterfalls. Iceland is often promoted as the cleanest and least polluted country on the planet. The island is considered one of the world’s richest in water resources and has one of the largest water per capita allocations in the world – and a considerable portion of the water comes from the ancient Icelandic glaciers which are the largest in Europe.

ICELAND is known worldwide, both as a safe and untainted source of natural food products – and as the custodian of the world’s most pristine and unpolluted Water Sources.
Icelandic water is unique in taste and composition, having been naturally filtered through an inert layer of lava rock.
Many of the Water Sources are close to the shoreline and therefore convenient for export. These Sources are also self-sustaining.
